Clarence Douguet

My Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Ecology at the University of Caen, France, gave me an interest in the relationships between humans and their environment. This led me to study the genetic and demographic impact of the Neolithic revolution on Papua New Guinean populations during my Master’s Degree in Biological Anthropology at the University of Bordeaux, France. I then had the opportunity to further develop this research during an internship at the Australian National University in Canberra. I am currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Toulouse Paul Sabatier, where I study how diet and the unique ecosystem of Papua New Guinea influence the biology of local populations.
